What will JTED do?
The JTED will provide new and enhanced vocational and technical education classes for students within participating districts. Additional funding will be available to each local high school district to prepare graduating students for local jobs and postsecondary vocational programs. The JTED can improve existing programs or add new programs.
What will JTED cost voters?
The local tax contribution to the JTED is nominal and is limited by state statute.
The formula calls for a maximum rate of 5 cents per $100 of secondary assessed property
value which equates to $5 per $100,000 full cash value for a single family home.

The 2009 Spelling Bee was a resounding success! The support from the parents, teachers, friends and other community leaders was very much appreciated by the students that worked so hard to be a part of this distinguished annual event!
First place went to Jessica Rascon of Scholar’s Academy and Second Place was awarded
to Jacob Fugate of Bouse Elementary School. Congratulations to these two young people.
We also wish Jessica Rascon success at the State Spelling Bee scheduled on March
28. The Arizona Spelling Bee will be held at 1:00 p.m. at Eight/Arizona PBS -
